ModuLab System

We are pleased to introduce ModuLab - the new gold standard for electrochemical instrumentation.  This novel system provides the most versatile electrochemical measurement technology available. It provides a range of measurements that were not possible before from a single instrument, including real fA results, ultra-high impedance, ultra-low impedance, and high cell voltage polarization. It also boasts a best-in-class impedance measurement system (single sine, multi-sine / FFT and harmonic analysis across the entire frequency band, in addition to AC voltammetry using the full range of techniques).

Solartron Analytical is a world leader in the development of instrumentation and software for the characterization of materials and cells using precision electrical measurement techniques, including electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).  These find particular use in the fields of battery and fuel cell research, dielectric analysis, electrochemistry, corrosion, sensor development and materials analysis. Solartron's product portfolio includes industry standard frequency response analyzers, potentiostats, electrochemical software (ZPlot and CorrWare) and battery test equipment.

Solartron Analytical designs and manufactures instrumentation for the rapid and accurate measurement of electrochemical phenomena. Covering DC and AC electrochemical analysis, the product range includes a variety of potentiostats/galvanostats, impedance analyzers, multiplexers, and application specific software (ZPlot and CorrWare).

Solartron Analytical recently introduced the CellTest multi-channel potentiostat system providing a wide range of tests on fuel cells, batteries and supercapacitors. These techniques include high-speed pulse (e.g. for GSM mobile phone applications), high current tests by connecting floating channels in parallel and multiple impedance analysis techniques to fully characterize the complete cell or individual cell anodes and cathodes.

Solartron Analytical also manufactures a range of equipment for the electrical characterization of materials. The study of frequency related impedance phenomena as a function of applied AC stimulus, DC bias and temperature is often essential in materials performance testing. Solartron’s 1260A Impedance Analyzer is renowned in the materials research community for its wide impedance range and measurement accuracy. A materials interface may be added to the system for the analysis of very high impedance materials.
